Football

Football is also known as association football or soccer. The game is played between two teams of 11 players, using any part of the body except their hands and arms, tactfully trying to get the ball to the opposing team’s goal. Only the goalkeeper is allowed to handle the ball and can only do so within the penalty area around the goal. The team that scores the most goals wins—the origins of modern football in Britain in the 19th century.
