The Yankees drafted Aaron Judge in the 32nd general election in the first round of the 2013 MLB draft. Judge signed with the Yankees and received a $ 1.8 million signing bonus.

He made his professional debut in Class A in 2014 with Charleston Riverdogs of the South Atlantic League. Judge started the 2015 season with the Trenton Thunder of the Class AA Eastern League. Aaron Judge was named to the International League All-Star team in 2016 but did not play in the 2016 Triple All-Star Game after spending a month on the disabled list due to a sprained knee.

On November 21, it was revealed that Judge had undergone arthroscopic surgery to clear the cartilage in his left shoulder, an injury in April of that year.

Judge started the 2019 season with 288 batting averages, five home runs, and 11 RBIs in 20 games. However, on April 20, he suffered a left oblique strain during a single hit in the sixth inning against the Kansas City Royals. He did not play until his return on June 21.

2020-2022

During spring training, Judge was dealing with pain in his pectoral area. Eventually, he had a stress fracture in his ribs and was excluded for at least two weeks. On August 14, Judge was placed on a 10-day injured list with a right calf strain. On August 26, the day he returned against the Atlanta Braves, he was again placed on the injured list for 10 days after straining the same calf.

In July 2021, before the start of the second half of the season, Aaron Judge and five other players tested positive for COVID-19. In 2021, Judge had the highest average exit speed of all major league batsmen, at 95.8 miles per hour. On October 28, 2021, Judge was named the Fielding Bible Award for his defensive excellence in the outfield for the 2021 season.
