His father is a Texas-born chiropractor who played football as an offensive lineman for the Chico State Wildcats. Rogers has two brothers. The younger, Jordan, played quarterback at Vanderbilt University and had a brief NFL career with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Rogers is of English, Irish, and German descent.
